Amazon Debuts Custom Clothing Service

Amazon touts its latest service as a way to eliminate one of the headaches often associated with buying clothes online: size and fit. A great deal of apparel is returned (at great cost to retailers) because of these issues, and Amazon is launching Made for You to bring affordable custom clothing to its customers. Shoppers provide their measurements, material and fit preferences, and color and style choices, then view the result on a virtual model. Custom shirts purchased in this way cost $25. Made for You is available to all Amazon customers, not just Prime members. 

Over time, the company says it wants to expand Made for You with more styles and selections, based on customer feedback.
