When the pandemic shut down stores and sent shoppers online, Amazon saw its revenue increase 40% to $88.9 billion. In response, the online retailer has been scrambling to increase its capacity, building new fulfillment centers and hiring workers to staff them. Shortly after announcing that it had 33,000 technology and corporate jobs available, Amazon has said that it is looking for an additional 100,000 new employees to work in its new warehouses and operation sites. The positions are available all over the United States and Canada.
Hiring for the new roles is already underway, Amazon said.
