Amazon's Prime Day Will Set Sales Record Despite the Pandemic, Analysts Say

Despite the delays and economic pressures generated by the global health crisis, this year's Amazon Prime Day is expected to be the biggest yet. Analysts at eMarketer predict that the sales event will bring in nearly $10 billion in sales worldwide, with more than half of those sales coming from U.S. customers. Prime Day 2019 brought in $6.93 billion. 

Forecasting for this year’s Prime Day, of course, has been much more difficult due to the coronavirus pandemic’s impact on the e-commerce industry.
