Under CEO Mark Tritton's leadership, Bed Bath & Beyond is embarking on a turnaround which, should it succeed, will represent nothing less than a transformation of the business. To that end, the retailer has hired away two executives from other major retailers to help grow Bed Bath & Beyond's e-commerce business.
The first, Jill Pavlovich, formerly head of exclusive brands and merchandising for Wayfair, will begin work next week in her new role of senior vice president of digital commerce for Bed Bath & Beyond. Additionally, Jake Griffith, formerly a general manager for sports and fitness at Walmart, will also begin work next week as vice president of product management for Bed Bath & Beyond. Both will report to Rafeh Masood, the retailer's chief digital officer.
Bed Bath’s shares are up almost 65% year to date. The company has a market cap of $3.55 billion.
