Best Buy Debuts New Membership Program

In order to solidify customer loyalty, Best Buy is launching a new membership program. Best Buy Beta costs $200 a year, and perks include free device installations, enhanced tech support, free shipping with no order minimum requirement, and exclusive sales. In the six states where it is launching initially, Beta will replace Total Tech Support, a more limited membership program that Best Buy debuted in 2018. It may one day replace it entirely.

The new and improved membership offering from Best Buy comes at a time when the membership program is looking more relevant than ever, as big names such as Amazon and Walmart work to make their own programs more and more attractive to customers.
