Consumers Spent About $10.8 Billion on Cyber Monday

Despite the early start to the holiday shopping season, Cyber Monday still raked in sales. Consumers had spent about $10.8 billion by the end of the day, a 15.1% increase over last year's online sales, according to Adobe. Almost half of consumers opted for one day shipping, and 37% chose curbside pickup. Adobe expects holiday spending to remain high, with curbside pickup increasing in popularity as shoppers try to avoid both shipping delays and in-store crowds. 

While large retailers saw a 486% increase in Cyber Monday sales, smaller retailers saw a 501% increase, Adobe found.
