Firearms and Ammunition Are Returning to Walmart's Sales Floors

After pulling guns and ammunition from some stores' sales floors following a police shooting in Philadelphia, Walmart is returning those products to the shelves. The retailer explained that the protests in response to the shooting did damage stores, but that the unrest remained "geographically isolated." Sales of firearms and ammunition have skyrocketed amid tensions related to the pandemic and the election. 

The decision comes just days before the presidential election and as several businesses across the country begin to prepare for possible post-election unrest by boarding up store windows.
