Shopify Announces TikTok Partnership

While TikTok's future in the United States is still shrouded in uncertainty, Shopify is forging ahead with a partnership with the social networking service. According to the two companies' agreement, Shopify merchants will now be able to create and run their TikTok marketing campaigns directly from Shopify's dashboard using the TikTok app from Shopify's app store.

A TikTok executive touted the video-sharing platform's "creative and highly engaged community" and said that the Shopify partnership is an ideal partner to help TikTok's users discover brands. For Shopify's part, TikTok could open the way for its merchants to reach a young, digitally-savvy audience.
