Staples Pilots Program to Accept Other Retailers' E-Commerce Returns

In 2019, Kohl's began accepting Amazon returns at its stores in an effort to increase foot traffic. Now Staples is taking a page from the same playbook with a partnership with Optoro, a returns and reverse logistics tech firm. The pilot program they are launching will allow customers to return products bought online from other retailers. It is called Express Returns, and Staples plans to have the program up and running by January, which is peak return season following the holidays.
