Walmart Delays the Launch of Its Answer to Amazon Prime

Walmart+ is Walmart's answer to Amazon Prime, designed to compete with a program that claims a large number of Walmart's own customers as members. The launch of Walmart+ was originally planned for late March or early April, only to be postponed when the coronavirus began to sweep the U.S. The new launch date was reportedly set for some time in July. Now it is clear that the debut of Walmart+ has been delayed a second time, and with so much uncertainty, Walmart isn't making public its timeframe for the program. 

A Walmart spokesperson declined to comment on the Walmart+ launch.
