Walmart Extends Store Hours Again, Keeps Special Shopping Hour

After cutting store hours in March to give associates more time to clean and stock shelves, Walmart extended them again in August to give customers a bigger window in which to shop for supplies. Now, the retailer is extending store hours again, just in time for the holiday shopping season. Most supercenters and Neighborhood Markets will be open from 7 AM to 11 PM by Saturday, with the hour before stores open to the general public still being reserved for seniors and those with a heightened risk of infection.

“This will provide customers with greater options to shop for the food, medicine and supplies they need, while allowing us to spread customer traffic over more hours,” Walmart said in a statement to USA TODAY.
