Walmart Partners with TikTok for Shoppable Livestream

For the first time, TikTok is venturing into shoppable livestream in the U.S., and it is partnering with Walmart to do it. During the the livestream events, users can shop for Walmart fashion products without leaving the app. After the events end, Walmart's fashion merchandise will still be available to purchase on Walmart's TikTok page. 

By teaming up, both Walmart and TikTok could boost their e-commerce operations, while giving the brick-and-mortar giant an edge with TikTok’s young user base.
