Walmart Pledges Additional $350 Billion to Buy Goods Made in America

In 2013, Walmart pledged that it would support American manufacturing by purchasing $250 billion worth of U.S. goods by the year 2023. Now, the retailer is topping that pledge with another, promising to spend an additional $350 billion on goods made, grown, or assembled in the United States in the next ten years. According to the company, nearly two-thirds of its current assortment already fits that description. 

With the move, the retailer said U.S. products will become an even larger part of its supply chain.
